In order to strengthen the relationship among staff, Victory Securities participated in the ‘Encounter with Rivers’ guided tour on 9 November and led a group of colleagues to learn about the environmental protection measures in the local community. We visited the artificial wetland, Kam Tin Estuary in Nam Sang Wai, and other natural landscapes of Hong Kong in the high autumn weather.
‘Green Power was invited by the Drainage Services Department (DSD) to co-organise the ‘Encounter with River - Yuen Long Bypass Floodway Eco Tour’. GREEN POWER's tour guides led colleagues of Victory Securities to learn more about the flood prevention projects, visit the seldom-opened stormwater pumping station, and learn about the community improvement measures taken by different parts of Hong Kong during inclement weather. We also visited an artificial wetland to understand the relationship between flood prevention projects and the conservation of the Ramsar site. Afterwards, we went to Nam Sang Wai and Kam Tin River to explore the wetland ecology, to learn about bird ecology while enjoying a variety of interesting plants and seasonal bird migration sightings. All colleagues learned about environmental protection in the beautiful backyard of Hong Kong, and also enjoyed fun of the autumn tour.
Victory Securities is committed to sustainability and provides cohesive activities for the workforce, hoping that all colleagues can enjoy the fun of life and enhance staff cohesion, productivity and creativity.
