Victory Securities and EMC Labs Announce Strategic Partnership to Promote the Development of a Compliant Bitcoin Fund
08 Nov, 2023

Victory Securities and EMC Labs, the emerging virtual asset research and investment organization, have announced the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU), planning to leverage their respective strengths, including compliance, data mining, and market cycle analysis capabilities, in hopes of providing investors with Bitcoin funds that align with the overall objectives and requirements of a compliant system.

With more than 50 years of history, Victory Securities is the first licensed corporation in Hong Kong to receive licenses from the Securities and Futures Commission (SFC) for virtual asset trading, advisory, and asset management services. Moreover, Victory Securities is permitted by the SFC to manage investment funds that include up to 100% virtual asset investments.

Mr. Kennix Chan, Executive Director of Victory Securities, said: “Many of our clients have been with us for over three generations, with more than 60% of our clients having been with us for over five years. We are also aware of the growing interest in virtual assets among many clients. Therefore, we hope to offer more market-demand-oriented products for them to choose from.”

On the other hand, EMC Labs is a tech-finance company driven by data mining and industry research, founded by seasoned virtual asset investors and data scientists. Since its inception, EMC Labs has invested substantial resources in data mining and indicator development on the BTC network.

Shang Silin, co-founder of EMC Labs, said: "In the 14 years since the birth of Bitcoin, it has accumulated information on hundreds of millions of addresses and behaviors. Through in-depth data mining, we can gain insight into the essence of market structure and cyclical fluctuations, thereby obtaining signals of turning points at different stages within a cycle. This is what distinguishes our strategy."

Victory Securities and EMC Labs complement each other well in terms of compliance, risk control, research and investment, and data mining. This partnership allows both companies to leverage their strengths to provide excellent services for the fund and its clients, creating new opportunities and value for investors in future markets.
