After consulting with the Hong Kong Securities and Futures Commission (SFC), Victory Securities (Stock Code: 8540.HK), which has been rooted in Hong Kong for 50 years, has announced its collaboration with EMC Labs to launch the Victory EMC BTC Cycle Fund, a Bitcoin fund that complies with the terms and conditions set out by the SFC. The fund is open to qualified professional investors and actively allocates Bitcoins on a cyclical basis based on data mining and industry research. The SFC also accepted Victory Securities' proposal to allow investors to subscribe for fund units using stablecoins. Victory Securities is currently the only licensed corporation in Hong Kong to propose such a solution and receive approval from the SFC.
According to Mr. Kennix Chan, Executive Director of Victory Securities, “ the Victory EMC BTC Cycle Fund will accept deposits in US dollars, USDC, or USDT, providing investors with a convenient way to participate in the compliant and licensed virtual asset market. This is reflects Hong Kong's proactive approach in establishing itself as a global hub for virtual assets over the past year.
As the first licensed corporation in Hong Kong approved by the SFC to offer virtual asset trading and advisory services to retail investors, we aim to offer investors a more diversified and innovative range of virtual asset products through our strategic collaboration with EMC Labs, while fully complying with the regulatory standards and licensing regime set by Hong Kong’s Securities and Futures Commission."
EMC Labs co-founder Shang Silin said, “We are delighted to work with Victory Securities and integrate our data mining technology into virtual asset products.” He pointed out that since the birth of Bitcoin, the company has accumulated information on hundreds of millions of behaviors. EMC Labs has developed a Bitcoin cycle analysis tool based on dozens of data signal systems to help funds gain insight into the essence of market structure and cyclical fluctuations, allowing them to identify signals of turning points at different stages within a cycle.
Both parties agree that Bitcoin is supported by four favourable factors, including the introduction of mainstream spot ETFs, the fourth Bitcoin halving, the end of the U.S. interest rate hike cycle, and the reshaping of the global political and economic landscape. The proactive launch of a compliant Bitcoin fund is expected to help investors achieve significant returns on their investment over the next decade and beyond.
